Purification Plant

Suitable Products

Homerun silica is suited for premium solar glass, Type 1 optical glass, engineered stone composites, fused silica, silicon carbide, ceramics and frac and foundry sand. 

Homerun’s silica can be successfully purified without hydrofluoric acid, one of the most hazardous industrial chemicals.

Technology Description

The Enduring Energy Storage System utilizes Homerun’s high-purity silica sand as thermal media, achieving 95% storage efficiency for multiple days with 50%-60% round-trip efficiency (competitive with pumped hydro, better than hydrogen). This technology eliminates fossil backup requirements and provides peak shaving and load flexibility.

Scalable from MWh to GWh applications with no geological or geographical limits. Ready for commercial pilot installation, this system offers utility-scale grid storage, industrial heat processes and renewable energy integration with superior longevity compared to battery replacement cycles.
